“His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” Psalm 91:4
Earlier this week, in a time of prayer, I heard the words ‘Protective ORDER’ in my spirit.
So, naturally, I had to look up the meaning.
A Protective Order is defined by ChatGPT as
“a legal order issued by a court to protect a person from harassment, abuse, stalking, or threats from another individual.”
A Protective Order
Restricts Contact and
is Legally Enforceable
It goes on to say that violating a protective order can lead to arrest, criminal charges, and jail time.
Has God ever used something in the natural to point you to a greater idea in the supernatural?
I believe this is what he was doing here.
When I spoke these words out in prayer, it was as if I could see the word ORDER in all caps.
This felt significant.
God is not the author of chaos or confusion.
He ORDERS times and seasons.
He ORDERS rhythms and systems.
He ORDERS our days and
He ORDERS storms to ‘be still’.
There was ORDER to creation, to the building of the ark and the temple in the Old Testament. We see His ORDER in the building of His Kingdom, and we can rest assured that there’s ORDER in the courts of Heaven.
Perhaps there are other examples of God’s way of ordering things that are popping into your mind even now?
Many of us are familiar with Psalm 91.
But over the past week it has come up in several conversations. This time, I saw it in a new way!
This is God’s Protective ORDER!
Psalm 91:11 tells us that if we make The Lord our refuge, He ORDERS His angels to protect us!
That’s a promise we can put on!
The ORDER means;
He plays his part.
We play ours.
Practically, I’m thinking of this business.
There are various items already created and available on the website. When you place an ORDER, I fulfill it on my end by sending it to you.
Perhaps that example falls short, because we are human. The point is;
God has a heavenly storehouse of resources available to those who trust in Him, alone.
I invite you to grab two highlighters and mark up your Bible! (here’s a picture of mine)

Or, capture this idea in your journal. 📝
Create two columns. Title the first column ‘His Part” and the second column “my part”.( Or, feel free to copy/paste and print my list out. 😉)
Perhaps this will help us SEE the Protective ORDER that he has divinely set up for us.
Remember, His promises are our armor and protection. (Psalm 91:4) But, what good is armor if it is not put on, applied, used for its intended purposes?
Psalm 91 ————- Protective ORDER

The Lord gives us these promises to put on as a Protective ORDER. They are like Noah’s Ark, when the enemy comes in like a flood. These promises protect those who dwell in the shelter of the Lord… and they raise a STANDARD against the enemy that say
“NO TRESPASSING! Private Property! if you violate these ORDERS, you will have to pay for it.”
Going back to the definition of Protective Order - let’s apply it spiritually.
Listen to his voice, through his Word, saying
It is illegal for these evils to trespass. These evils will not touch you.
“No evil will conquer you. No plague will come near your home. I WILL rescue those who love me. I WILL protect those who call on my name.” Psalm 91:10,11,14

2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds us that
“ALL of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “YES!” And through Christ, our “AMEN” (which means yes) ascends to God for His glory.”
Jesus is the guardian of these promises and he is the final WORD.
When we trust in only Him to be our Lord and Savior…
When we remain in Him…
When we find rest in Him…
When we ‘shelter in place’,
His shed blood is what speaks the
—- protective ORDER —— over us.
Holy Spirit is our first-installment of this amazing inheritance. He seals us and guarantees everything God has promised.
How’s that for some GOOD News?
Father, in the name of Jesus we come today before your throne of grace. We thank you for your promises and provisions over your people. We don’t trust in men or chariots, but in you, alone, to be our Savior, our Refuge and our Shelter. You are our King. We know this world comes with troubles, chaos and storms. We take heart today that YOU are more powerful. In the trials, we look for your miraculous power to breakthrough. In the darkness, we look for your Light to shine more brilliantly. In suffering, we thank you that you never leave us alone. You with us in trouble (Psalm 91:15)
You rescue and cover us with your love. Your perfect love casts out fear.
Your promises are our armor and protection.
In stillness, you fight for us. (Exodus 14:14)
We plead and apply the blood of Jesus today as a No Trespassing, Protective ORDER proclamation over our homes, our families, our communities, and all in this world who call on you as Lord. Thank you for this Protective ORDER over your remnant. We receive it now, in your precious and priceless name, Jesus.
🙏Amen.
As always, I love to hear from you!
